Costaisa will develop the clinical and administrative management system for INNN

Neurología

Costaisa will develop the patient management, clinical management and administrative management system for the Manuel Velasco Suárez National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery (INNN) in Mexico.

Chaman is the HIS (Health Information System) solution to be implemented, and it will integrate the following services: appointment management, patient records, admissions, request and delivery of laboratory and image results, material requests and responses, medications and services, patient discharge records, healthcare packages, diet management, warehouse management, clinical records for external consultations, Accident & Emergency, hospitalisation, intensive therapy and operating theatre, among others.

It will also integrate the SAP-based Sanicost economic and non-clinical management module that is able to manage all the activities related to administrative management (procurement, income, expenditures, vendors), warehouses (incoming items and deliveries, management, inventory control), and finance and accounting (asset management, sales, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable).

The INNN is an international reference in the field of neurological science that covers everything from research and teaching to the diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases, from their molecular basis to their social components. Each year it treats over 6,000 new patients, provides nearly 90,000 medical consultations and performs more than 2,000 surgical procedures. It designs diagnostic and treatment protocols, generates scientific knowledge regarding pathologies with a high social and public impact, and publishes approximately 100 articles in scientific journals each year.
