Consorci Mar Parc de Salut awards Costaisa the implementation of Docentis as its teaching management system
Costaisa has been awarded the implementation of its platform for monitoring and evaluating the healthcare, teaching, and research activities of all residents training at the Consorci Mar Parc de Salut in Barcelona, which integrates the Hospital del Mar.
In Spain, the MIR training system regulates planning, monitoring, and evaluation by accredited centers, which must also maintain a record of all healthcare, teaching, and research activities carried out by their residents. The so-called "resident's book," which is mandatory for the Administration, will now be processed entirely online.
The solution to be implemented, Docentis, is a Software as a Service (SaaS) that has been used for over 10 years in multiple healthcare centers throughout Spain, with more than 10,000 users, including residents, tutors, study heads, technical and administrative support staff, and teaching collaborators from accredited healthcare facilities to provide specialized healthcare training.
Consorci Mar Parc de Salut performs over 20,000 surgical interventions and 120 kidney transplants per year, and its research institute has a team of more than 700 researchers, who develop over 200 research projects. The Consortium manages the teaching of approximately 430 residents per year, in addition to about 100 tutors and users of its platform.
