Costaisa attends a Foment conference to discuss the future of the healthcare system in Catalonia
Costaisa took part in the conference "Challenges of Catalan healthcare in the current legislature", held at the headquarters of Foment del Treball, an event that brought together institutional representatives, public health experts, healthcare managers, and companies in the sector to analyze the main challenges and opportunities of the Catalan healthcare system in the current political, health, and social context.
The event, inaugurated by the Minister of Health, Olga Pané, focused on the need to promote structural reforms to adapt the healthcare system to new population demands, marked by ageing, chronicity, and digital transformation. During the conference, key issues were addressed such as economic and environmental sustainability, integration of innovation and research, digitalization of services, and improvement of accessibility and quality of care.
In the various round tables, experts and sector leaders discussed:
- New health policies, with special emphasis on digitalization, personalized care, and coordination between healthcare and social spheres.
- The challenges in research and innovation, highlighting the role of technology and public-private collaboration to accelerate knowledge transfer and the adoption of advanced solutions in clinical practice.
- The economic and environmental sustainability of the system, access to innovation, and human resources management.
