Presentation of the program for the promotion and development of AI in the Catalan health system
Costaisa has attended the presentation of the Health/AI Program that aims to facilitate innovation in the field of health through the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to improve health, by defining challenges applying public procurement models and supporting initiatives to develop an AI health and industry ecosystem in Catalonia.
During the event, several experiences were also presented by some associated centers, such as the skin cancer diagnosis platform of the Hospital Clínic, the oropharyngeal dysphagia screening platform of the Maresme Health Consortium, the hospital occupancy prediction platform of the Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu and the management and orientation of low complexity to Emergencies of the Parc Taulí Health Corporation.
The act has been organized by La Unió in collaboration with TIC Salut, and has been attended by more than 200 attendees, members of its associated entities and collaborating companies such as Costaisa, which in recent years has been promoting the deployment of initiatives using AI and machine learning, in absenteeism prevention projects, emergency prediction, patient flows or health planning, among others.
