The Department of Health presents the lines of action of its tractor projects for Next Generation EU funds

Consellera Alba VergésTeleconsultation, artificial intelligence, data integration to improve patient care, home care, hardware 3D printing, personalized medicine and biomaterials are the main lines of action to receive funding from the Next Generation EU funds, and the Regional Ministry of Health, Alba Vergés, presented them yesterday in a virtual session with the main actors involved.

The Costaisa Group is particularly interested in being associated with the realization of the future projects that will make up each line of action and their subsequent implementation, given that this is one of the main references of the systems and services of 'information applied to health in our country, both specialized professionals with about 500 people in the group of companies that compose it, as well as in the offer of services and solutions in the market. The group is made up of three IT companies (Costaisa, Fihoca and Sapas), two engineering companies (Sisemed and Datapro) and two training companies (Onplusformación and Bdnplus).

Alba Vergés was accompanied by the Director General of Research and Innovation in Health, Robert Fabregat, and by the Director of Innovation of the Catalan Agency for Quality and Health Assessment (AQuAS), Ramon Maspons, and during the event the program of the Ministry of Health was presented with the tractor projects which aim to transform the Catalan health system.

The Next Generation EU funds promote economic and social reconstruction after the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is estimated that Catalonia will have an investment of nearly 2 billion euros in projects in the health sector, which could be executed during over the next five years.
