Telemedicine in the times of COVID-19 for the Iberian Society of Telemedicine and Telehealth
Rafael Pardo has been invited by the Iberian Society of Telemedicine and Telehealth (SITT) to make an exhaustive review of the situation of telemedicine in Europe, which places Spain in an intermediate stage of development, halfway between those who start and the platoon led by the Nordic countries, Portugal, UK and France, with systems (legal and reimbursement framework) already in place.
Pardo, who in addition to being secretary of the SITT is a senior consultant in eHealth at Costaisa, has a long track record in digital transformation projects in the health sector and is a regular speaker at conferences and innovation events in digital health.
The SITT was born more than five years ago to promote telemedicine as a tool, incorporating good practices and innovative techniques as well as the organization of informative events and the training of professionals.
