Digital Cluster promotes debate on the challenges and opportunities in digital health from the patient's perspective

Jornada Cluster Digital PacienteCostaisa has participated in the cycle of debates on digital health promoted by Clúster Digital, where prominent experts and industry leaders offered their views on the challenges to be addressed from the perspective of patients, professionals and the organizations that support them in the process of care assistance.

The event was chaired by Joan Puaté, Manager of the Cluster, and had the participation of Elena Medarde, Cap d'Àrea de Recerca i Innovació of the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa; Julio Lorca, Manager of Digital Health Development DKV; Joan Carles Fajardo, Technological Responsible in General Coordination of ICT - Office eSalut Departament de Salut; Jordi Martínez Roldán, Director of Innovation and Digital Transformation at Parc Salut del Mar; Yolanda Lupiáñez, Innovation & Digital Transformation Director of the TICSalut Social Foundation; and Antoni Yuste Marco, Director of Research, Innovation and Teacher at Consorci Sanitari de l'Alt Penedès i Garraf.

The debate was moderated by Francesc Mateu, Director of Telemedicine at Costaisa, who emphasized how technology is helping to transform the care model and the experts consulted advocated breaking inertia and moving care where it is needed: hospital, primary health care, home or mobile, and that the patient was more involved in the care processes of their disease and in the decision processes of their health service provider.
