Hospital Pharmacy of the Balearic Islands is invited to present Naveta at Inforsalud

Dr. Gabriel Mercadal en la presentación de naveta en Inforsalud 2022 The Hospital Pharmacy Association of the Balearic Islands (FARUPEIB) has been invited by the Spanish Society of Health Informatics (SEIS) to present its telepharmacy initiative, known as Naveta. Its President, Dr. Gabriel Mercadal is also Deputy to the Pharmacy Service of the Mateu Orfila Hospital in Menorca, and has presented "Naveta: telematic monitoring of patients associated with PROMs".

Naveta makes operational a vision of patient-centered care, and allows the establishment of automation to streamline processes as well as establishing a direct channel with the patient to monitor, answer questions, educate them on their pathology and treatment, promote healthy habits, etc. It gives patients a voice so that they are at the center of the care model, determine their priorities and play an active role in the management of their disease.
It offers a simple channel of interaction that allows adapting the care experience with flexibility, depending on the profile of each patient. This flexibility is key to guarantee the adherence of patients to the prescribed programs and to modulate care programs "on the fly", in response to possible changes in the results observed.
Naveta also wants to establish a community of health professionals (doctors, nurses, pharmacists or psychologists, among others) together with professionals linked to ehealth technologies, with the aim of promoting and evaluating the impact of the use of care protocols, and generating models of healthcare excellence.
Costaisa is the technological partner in charge of providing the Phemium interaction platform and evolving the community.
