Barcelona remains one of the main hubs for generating and attracting digital talent in Europe
Costaisa Group has attended the sixth edition of the presentation of the "Digital Talent Overview", a report prepared by Mobile World Capital that has once again positioned Barcelona as one of the main hubs of tech talent at the European level. In five years, it has managed to add nearly 55,000 new ICT specialists, 25% of them last year.

According to the report, in 2023 there were 34,192 job openings for ICT profiles in Barcelona, and a shortage of digital profiles is observed: while in all professions there is a ratio of 70 professionals for every job opening, in the ICT sector the ratio is 14.2, five times less. The Catalan capital was the third European city (behind London and Amsterdam) with the greatest presence of the ICT sector in the labor market, closing 2023 with 122,185 professionals, the highest figure since the report was first produced.
