Biocat presented its operational plan for adopting innovation in the Catalan Health System at La Unió. The presentation was given by Robert Fabregat, CEO of Biocat, and was attended by more than 50 professionals from the sector.
During the session, there was a review of the main actors involved in the innovative ecosystem of digital solutions and medical technology in Catalonia. Recommendations were also made on how to promote initiatives from the provision of health services and how to take advantage of existing acceleration programs, in addition to the different support instruments that are available to them.
The event was organized by La Unió, the largest and oldest business organization for health and social care in Catalonia. Currently, it is made up of nearly 120 associated entities with more than 65,000 workers, in specialized care, primary care, social health care, mental health, dependency, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, clinical analysis laboratories and ambulance transport. It also has the participation of 48 collaborating companies, such as Costaisa, which is a benchmark in digital health.
