Chile also adopts Gestpath as a management solution for its pathological anatomy labs
The Dr. Exequiel González Cortés Hospital in Chile has awarded Costaisa a contract regarding the implementation of the information system for the traceability and management of its Pathological Anatomy Service.
GestPath was chosen as the winning solution, which covers the entire workflow associated with pathological study and is integrated with all the laboratory-related elements, from examination requests to the submission of the final report.
It was developed by Esblada Medical Solutions, which has a team of engineers specialised in pathological anatomy, partnered by Costaisa for international marketing in some LATAM countries, collaborating on the integration of large implementation projects. It is currently implemented in over thirty centres in three countries, each with a different regulatory framework, which the solution complies with, demonstrating its adaptation capacity and flexible set up.
GestPath allows users to manage all the processes associated with each type of study, from organising work and the arrival of laboratory samples, to the online and certified sending of diagnostic reports, as well as the subsequent archiving of samples.
The Dr. Exequiel González Cortés Hospital is a care and specialised pediatrics centre that belongs to the Chilean public health network, serving a population of 1.2 million people.
