The Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, will host on Wednesday the technical session "Advanced Management of Pathological Anatomy Laboratories", organized by Costaisa and Esblada for Service Managers of reference centers in the specialty, to whom the new developments of the Gestpath application will be presented.
Developed by Esblada, Gestpath covers all the workflow associated with the anatomopathological study and it's integrated with all the laboratory elements. It has been developed by engineers specialized in pathology, and follows the guidelines of the White Paper on Pathological Anatomy and the SNOMED-CT coding system.
In addition, it allows total control over the information associated with the samples (data of the request of the applicant, material submitted and processed, diagnosis, associated invoice, etc.) and ensures the traceability of the process of a sample, from the request of the study to the delivery of the report, including also the derived invoice.
Gestpath is in continuous development by specialist technicians of Esblada. Costaisa is its technological partner and commercial representative since 2015, addressing the international market and strategic projects of the national territory.
