5G and e-Health, stars of La Nit de les Telecomunicacions i la Informàtica
Costaisa has been present in the traditional Nit de les Telecomunicacions, which each year is organized by Telecos.cat and the Official College of Computer Engineering of Catalonia (Coeinf).
In this 24th edition, the central themes of the event have been the irruption of 5G as the new standard that will improve communications and connectivity of all types of network devices, and e-Health.
In this area, highlight the intervention of Anna Benavent, president and co-founder of Unitss, the Catalan Association of Health Informatics, who participated in the inaugural conference where she tackled the challenge of health services global digitalization. Among the honorees, highlight the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona that was recognized with the Cisco Award for Digital Transformation for its contribution to e-health.
The Auditorium of Barcelona was the chosen site and was attended by the Presidents of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, and the Parlament, Roger Torrent, as well as the Conseller of Digital Policies and Public Administration of the Generalitat, Jordi Puigneró, who pointed out that the ICT sector is decisive in the strategy of the future of Catalonia.
