Under the slogan "commitment, humanisation, innovation", the Spanish Society for Specialised Healthcare Training held its III National SEFSE-AREDA Congress, which coincided with the XV National Event of Tutors and Heads of Studies on Specialised Healthcare Training, where the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona presented Docentis, an online tutor book.
Costaisa is responsible for the development and implementation of Docentis, a platform designed for the Clinic, which allows users to monitor the training activity of medical residents. It is a collaborative environment where managers, tutors and residents can centralise all of their daily work.
The results of a study on the organisation of specialised training in European countries and America, where Spain holds onto a privileged position in terms of prospects and development, were also presented at the event. In Spain, the MIR (Resident Medical Interns) training system has been in operation for over 40 years and Royal Decree 183/2008 established its specifications.
