MWC showcases the latest innovation trends with digital health taking center stage
Yesterday, the 18th edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) came to a close, the most focused on digital health of all the editions we have held, with a special focus on the cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and cybersecurity, with the intense participation of the entrepreneurial ecosystem that gathered at 4YFN, the parallel event that each year is more integrated with its big brother.
In this edition, a special focus has been placed on making the most of the potential offered by the cloud, where Huawei presented its extensive and powerful range of services that have made it a leading player throughout Asia, and formalized its commitment to the use of its infrastructures in the healthcare sector with the signing of a collaboration agreement with Costaisa Group.
New AI technologies applied to health have also captured the attention of the public, such as advanced diagnostic algorithms, machine learning systems and applications in the field of medical research. In the field of IoMT, we have witnessed demonstrations of the latest interconnected medical devices that allow healthcare professionals to monitor their patients remotely and in real time.
Finally, in the field of cybersecurity, new ways to protect sensitive systems and data from cyberattacks have been presented, an area in which we are making special efforts after the incorporation into Costaisa Group of Davinci TI, a consultancy firm with more than 20 years advising the main security managers of medium and large corporations in our country.
The Costaisa team that attended the event has had the opportunity to learn about innovation trends in the global industry and helps us to identify collaboration and growth opportunities applicable to the healthcare sector. In addition, it allows us to showcase our solutions and services to an international audience, with the aim of generating new customers and business partners.
