Costaisa Group recently participated in an exclusive session organized by Huawei Cloud to present its portfolio of solutions and showcase the technological capabilities the company is deploying in the European market.
During the session, the Huawei Cloud team shared its vision on the reliability and potential of its solutions, highlighting the company's commitment to becoming a key player in the European digital space. Huawei is currently the fifth-largest company in the world in R&D investment, allocating over 25% of its annual revenue to this area, with 55% of its workforce dedicated to research and development. This strategy places Huawei at the forefront of technological innovation and the development of new solutions.
Huawei's portfolio is structured into five main business areas:
- Digital Power: green energy solutions, such as solar panels, representing 8% of its revenue.
- Cloud: infrastructure, technology, and expertise "as a service," present in 33 regions and accounting for 8% of global revenue. Huawei Cloud complies with Level 5 of Spain's National Security Scheme (ENS) and GDPR requirements, ensuring data protection and transparency in information processing. In Europe, it currently has its own data center located in Ireland, with a robust global infrastructure and transparent costs that allow for a minimum 25% reduction compared to other alternatives.
- Devices: wearables, mobile phones, and the Harmony operating system, accounting for 34.4% of revenue.
- Vehicles: autonomous driving and luxury car solutions, with 1% of revenue.
- Infrastructure: cloud hardware and connectivity, representing 51% of total income.
The presentation emphasized Huawei Cloud's focus on security, data protection, and customer orientation. The company has passed over 140 international audits and certifications, including ENS in Spain and the EU Cloud Code of Conduct, reinforcing its position as a reliable cloud service provider aligned with the highest European standards.
