Value-based care takes center stage at the 7th edition of the SEDISA AMPHOS Meeting

Naveta en AMPHOS SEDISACostaisa participated in the 7th AMPHOS Meeting organized by SEDISA in collaboration with Abbvie, held at the Complejo Hospitalario Rioja Salud. Key stakeholders in new care models shared experiences integrating technology and expert knowledge to advance patient-centered healthcare approaches.

The AMPHOS framework aligns technology and care processes through three pillars: digitalization of workflows, humanization of patient-provider interaction, and data integration for decision-making. Gabriel Mercadal, President of FARUPEIB and Deputy Head of Pharmacy at Hospital Mateu Orfila in Menorca, presented Naveta, a value-based care initiative using PROMs and PREMs for patient monitoring. Costaisa contributes as the technology partner, embedding these tools into its Phemium telemedicine platform.

Naveta operates on four pillars:

  • Digitally validated questionnaires to measure health outcomes (PROMs/PREMs).
  • Automated feedback systems with risk stratification.
  • Coordination modules for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Predictive analytics tools for resource optimization.

Costaisa is implementing this model across multiple autonomous regions, adhering to principles of progressive scalability and local adaptation. This initiative underscores the company's commitment to modernizing healthcare systems through purpose-driven technological solutions.

Headquartered in Barcelona with over 600 IT specialists, Costaisa Group has a strong foothold in healthcare. Its portfolio includes platforms for resident management, assisted prescribing, and data integration, prioritizing interoperability and information security.
