Value-based care through PROMs / PREMs at the 23rd National Hospital Congress

Mesa redonda en el 23 Congreso Nacional de HospitalesGabriel Mercadal, President of FARUPEIB and Deputy to the Pharmacy Service of the Mateu Orfila Hospital in Menorca, has been invited to participate in the 23rd National Congress of Hospitals and Healthcare Management taking place this week in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to present Naveta, its value-based care initiative using PROMs and PREMs for patient monitoring, in which Costaisa participates as a technology partner.

Eloína Núñez, Manager of the Health Area of ​​Santiago de Compostela and Barbanza, has moderated the round table entitled "Fundamentals of value-based care and experiences of implemented models", in which Dr. Mercadal has participated accompanied by Julio Mayol, Director of the Innovation Unit of the San Carlos Clinical Hospital, and Joaquin Borrás, Deputy Pharmacist of the Hospital de Sagunto.
Since it was launched a couple of years ago, more and more centers are joining this initiative thanks to its low implementation cost and the enormous results observed in terms of optimization of the care process, patient safety and improved outcomes observed.

In this 23rd edition of the Congress, the organizers have wanted to place patients in the central focus of the SNS and have selected the best initiatives that improve access to health systems through tools and new technologies, such as the one presented by Dr. .Mercadal.

It is estimated that more than 3,000 people will attend the three-day Congress, which is held every two years by the Spanish Society of Health Managers (SEDISA) and the National Association of Nursing Managers (ANDE), and that brings together professionals, managers, and leaders of the public administration and the healthcare industry in our country.
