Cybersecurity takes center stage at the 3rd edition of the FSE's "Digital Transformation in Healthcare Organizations"
The Fundació Salut Empordà (FSE) once again brought together the main players in innovation and digital transformation in our country, from the Administration to associations and healthcare providers or service companies such as Costaisa, which, once again, has collaborated as a sponsor of the event. This year's opening session was given by Genís Roca, a leading figure in innovation in our country, who reflected on the role of technology in recent years and his vision of the future, where he foresees the appearance of "new services, proactive and massively personalized, based on data and in real time".
Cybersecurity occupied a good part of the content of the sessions because in recent years it has been one of the major concerns of healthcare managers, and where Costaisa is deploying its capabilities both from the perspective of business knowledge and cybersecurity and medical technology solutions, where it has more than 300 professional experts in these disciplines.
Sergi Iglesia, Managing Director of the FSE, reviewed the entity's Digital Transformation Plan, highlighting its initiatives in robotics, drones, apps and patient portals, among others. With more than 700 years of history and close to 900 workers, the FSE is the healthcare network of reference for the population of Alt Empordà, and provides primary care health services (Basic Health Area of l'Escala), specialized care (Figueres Hospital) and social-health care (Bernat Jaume Social-Health Center).
