Generative AI and data security take center stage at VMware Explore 2023 in Barcelona

Experts agree that generative AI will spread across all organizational layers, making work easier and boosting productivity, with a focus on data privacy. To this end, VMware has announced its private AI platform with reference architecture with hardware and Intel's software suite, running on VMware Cloud Foundation, and with interoperability with IBM's Watsonx and Kyndryl.
Cybersecurity also had a prominent place and its offering of AI/ML-driven proactive encryption prevention and response solutions was presented, in a unified ransomware management and disaster recovery model in local and public clouds.
