Costaisa Group joins the debate on the transformation of SISCAT
The event "SISCAT: Evolution or Transformation? Challenges and Opportunities of the Healthcare System," organized by the Catalan Society of Healthcare Management, brought together managers and healthcare professionals to discuss whether the Catalan system requires only a specific evolution or demands a structural reform. Among the topics analyzed were the transformation of care models — with special attention to primary care and social-health integration — organizational modernization, sustainability of the financing model, and the care of professionals.
During the event, it was highlighted that viable reforms require technical frameworks that allow the integration of clinical data, ensure interoperability between care levels, and enable operational models that facilitate the decentralization of services without losing safety or quality.
