Phemium joins World Adherence Day with its patient follow-up through PROM and PREM

Costaisa, a pioneering company in Spain in digital health solutions, joins the celebration of World Adherence Day, which is commemorated today with the aim of improving patient health. Numerous studies show that a significant percentage of patients do not follow medical instructions either in time or in form, which can lead to complications, hospitalizations and a higher cost for the health system.

Phemium, Costaisa's platform for managing patient relationships, offers an effective response to this challenge. Through PROM (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) and PREM (Patient-Reported Experience Measures) questionnaires, Phemium allows patients to express in a simple and quick way how they feel and how they are responding to treatment.

The data collected through these questionnaires is analyzed using advanced algorithms, which allows identifying those patients with low adherence and designing personalized interventions to improve their follow-up. Thanks to Phemium, healthcare professionals can:

  • Early detect potential problems by identifying warning signs that indicate that the patient is not following the treatment correctly.
  • Personalize treatments by adapting therapeutic interventions to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Improve doctor-patient communication by fostering a closer and more personalized dialogue between the patient and their doctor.
  • Optimize healthcare resources by reducing costs and improving the efficiency of the healthcare system.

"The incorporation of PROM and PREM into Phemium enhances the most clinical part of our telemedicine and user experience platform," says Jordi Campo, Health Director at Costaisa. "With Phemium, we want to contribute to improving patients' quality of life and optimizing health outcomes."

At Costaisa we are committed to developing innovative solutions that enable healthcare professionals to provide more personalized and efficient care. In addition to Phemium, OntoClinic (prescription assistant), Sanicost (billing and procurement in SAP), Docentis (resident training follow-up) and DataConnect (healthcare information integration platform) also stand out.
