A project to assess the quality of life in HIV patients with Naveta selected at the SEIMC 2023 Congress
The Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC) has selected the Naveta project to be exposed to the attendees of its annual congress. Naveta is an initiative of FARUPEIB with the backing of the Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques de Balears and the support of Bibliopro, which is the virtual library of international scientific reference for the questionnaires in Spanish on Results Perceived by Patients (PRO). Costaisa is its technological partner and responsible for its evolution.
It is a community open to healthcare professionals with the aim of promoting and evaluating the impact of the use of care protocols oriented towards value-based medicine, and offers a wide library of resources for patient follow-up: PROM questionnaires to measure disease progression, quality of life, side effects or adherence; PREM questionnaires to evaluate the experience and satisfaction of the patient in their care process.
Biel Mercadal, President of FARUPEIB and Assistant to the Pharmacy Service of the Mateu Orfila Hospital in Menorca, will present the use case of NAVETA-HIV, a multidisciplinary project carried out between Internal Medicine and Hospital Pharmacy of the Balearic Islands with the eVIHa Cohort, in which 500 patients have participated.
In this its 26th edition, the organizers have chosen the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Galicia as the meeting point for specialists in Santiago de Compostela from June 1 to 3, 2023, for which a program has been prepared that includes multiple scientific sessions (plenary conferences, round tables, expert meeting sessions, literature review, etc.) that will cover the entire field of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology, including the main challenges facing our society today.
