Big Data & Analytics, prediction of emotions, recognition of natural language and machine learning in Innodata BCN

Pantalla de ordenadorCostaisa has participated in the Innodata BCN 2019, the first Big Data & Analytics congress organized by Datahack, which has brought together in Barcelona more than 400 data analytics professionals and students, who have also been able to learn about current projects in the field of the emotions prediction, the recognition of natural language or the machine learning, among others.

With the increase in life expectancy and chronicity along with the rise of robotics, special interest came from the presentation of a system of emotions detection and the results in the application of an assistant for Alzheimer's patients, with the ability to predict the emotional state of the patient thanks to his facial expression. A natural language recognition project was also presented where a robot processed the conversation and was able to transform it into actions to be carried out.

In the field of machine learning, experiences were shown in projects with "supervised" data, which can be trained alone based on a history, and with "non supervised" data, that require tagged data to be learned where the form is being searched to automate certain processes.
