What will be left in digital health after the pandemic, opportunities and challenges, in Inforsalud 2021

Inforsalud 2021Inforsalud, the traditional meeting of health information technology professionals, which brought together more than 500 people in Madrid on 21, 22 and 23 June, closes its doors today. Organized by the Spanish Health Informatics Society (SEIS) this year it has focused on the initiatives undertaken in recent months to face the pandemic and the challenges that are offered to us for the future.

In this, its 24th edition, the SEIS is once again the focus of the agenda of all those driving the digital transformation in healthcare in Spain, with representatives of the administration and industry who are taking advantage of the congress to share experiences and demands, such as the lack of a national interoperability framework, data culture or investment in digital health mainly, which we have been dragging along for some years now.

The pandemic has put the system to the test and during these months it has been possible to demonstrate the low level of technological maturity in digital health that our country suffers from, although also the great capacity for response and adaptation of all the actors involved: administration, citizens, health providers and industry.

Costaisa is part of the latter group and once again this year wanted to be present to meet with customers and partners, to present the new features of its software solutions that cover the clinical area (HIS hospital management, telemedicine, clinical decision support, nephrology, pathological anatomy and biomedical research registry) and non-clinical area (ERP, electronic billing, ECM, interoperability, human resource planning and resident management).
