The telepharmacy initiative Naveta is the protagonist of one of the leading international digital health conferences

SITT Oporto 2022

The Sociedad Ibérica de Telemedicina y Telesalud (SITT) has invited the association of Hospital Pharmacy of the Balearic Islands (FARUPEIB) to present its telepharmacy initiative, known as Naveta, within the framework of its IV Forum SITT, which every two years brings together main referents of telemedicine in Spain, Portugal and LATAM.

Dr. Gabriel Mercadal, President of FARUPEIB and Assistant to the Pharmacy Service of the Mateu Orfila Hospital in Menorca, will be in charge of presenting this new initiative that facilitates the telematic follow-up of patients by facilitating access to a wide library of resources for the follow-up of patients: questionnaires on health status PROM (to measure disease activity, quality of life, productivity, side effects or adherence, among others) and PREM (to assess the experience and satisfaction of the patient in their care process), in addition to content educational and other interactions that allow a continuous clinical-care approach, and with a completely anonymous management of the data.

Oporto (Portugal) has been chosen as the venue for this year's congress, which is expected to be attended by around 500 people on 29 and 30 September. Costaisa is one of the entities collaborating in the launch of the event and in the deployment of Naveta.
SITT was established in 2015 to promote the development and application of ICT in the field of health, scientific research, administration and management in Spain and Portugal.
