Google Cloud Next 2019 leads the conversion of systems to the cloud with health in the spotlight

Hall del Google Cloud Next 2019Costaisa has participated in the Google Cloud Next 2019 in San Francisco, the great event organized every year by that American multinational. This edition has had more than 500 sessions, panels, workshops and keynotes where Google has presented its news and trends to its network of partners, customers and IT experts.

One of the major novelties has been Anthos, the new hybrid cloud platform, which also allows to offer a multicloud solution and to work with Google Cloud or other public cloud, such as Amazon's AWS or Microsoft's Azure. This all amounts an opportunity to combine data and applications wherever they are, and opens an interesting possibilities field for large infrastructure management services companies, where Costaisa is a clear example after more than 50 years as a reference provider in Spain.

Another remarkable aspect by the new Google Cloud CEO, Thomas Kurian, is the strategic commitment of Google Cloud in the health sector. Both machine learning and artificial intelligence and big data, are the spearhead to process and automate health data. The challenge of interpreting unstructured data or radiological images with these technologies is already a reality, and Google Cloud is firmly committed to this line.

Both the use of these technologies in health and the hybrid cloud are two mainstays in the business development strategy of Costaisa in the coming years, and in short term will undoubtedly result in collaborations with the American multinational.
